Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
K9 Mold Guide ("we," "us") is a licensed Texas mold assessment company. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and in the course of working with you, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use our contact form, call, text or email us, we collect what you share, such as your name, phone number, email, city or address, home square footage, how you heard about us, why you're reaching out, and your message.
- Appointment details. When you book with us, we keep your appointment time, property address, and notes about your home and visit.
- Basic technical information. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives that basic information. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule and confirm appointments, and send reminders.
- To perform our services, prepare reports and protocols, and follow up afterward.
- To bill you and keep business records. We use QuickBooks Online for invoicing, so your name, contact information, billing address and related notes are stored there.
- After your visit, we may ask whether you'd leave us a Google review. That request is always sent by a person, never automatically.
Where it's stored
Contact form submissions and client records are kept in our private Google account (Google Sheets and Gmail). Billing records are kept in our QuickBooks Online account. These providers store data on our behalf under their own security and privacy practices.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- With the service providers listed above, so they can store and process it for us.
- With people you ask us to share it with, such as your remediator or real estate agent.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights or safety.
How long we keep it
We keep client records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our business, tax and licensing record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time using the contact details below.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
